Heat Pumps & Hybrid Systems

AirBest is a fully licensed heat pump specialist, and we install heat pumps as standalone systems or paired with a gas furnace in a hybrid setup: the heat pump handles most of the season efficiently, and the furnace kicks in on the coldest days when a heat pump alone would have to work too hard.

Residential. For homes, a hybrid system is usually the practical choice in our climate: lower operating costs most of the year, with a gas backup for deep cold snaps. We size the system to your home, install it, and walk you through which current rebate programs it qualifies for, right now that’s Ontario’s Home Renovation Savings program, and we track program changes so you don’t have to. We handle the paperwork.

Commercial. We also design and install heat pump systems for commercial retrofits and as part of Net Zero Program projects, where switching part of a building’s heating load to a heat pump reduces both emissions and operating cost.
